Helpful tips

The tall lamp on the bedside table is named “Julio” and can be controlled via Alexa. Top Alexa commands for Philips Hue.

Turn on Julio. (Turn off Julio.)
Make Julio brighter.
Dim Julio.
Brighten Julio to 75%.
Make Julio warmer.
Make Julio cooler.
Turn Julio lavendar.
Set Julio to Relax.

You can also control the TV by invoking “Alexa, turn on Master Roku” (or the remote control).

The water pressure is low to conserve water and the temperature in your shower is a bit moody. Please give it a little time to warm up and it should be good.

Our House Rules

  1. All guests must be listed on the itinerary- this includes pets. (Clearly, we love animals but we need to know of and approve their stay.)

  2. Persons (friends or pets) not listed on the itinerary are not permitted in our home without prior consent.

  3. Please turn off ALL appliances when not in use (lights, fans, AC, TV, etc.) Water and electricity are precious commodities here on the island, so please be mindful of your consumption. Being eco-aware is chic, not to mention essential to the survival of our planet.

  4. Please use coasters to protect the furniture.

  5. Please hang your damp towels in the bathroom or on the hooks in your bedroom (not on the furniture).

  6. The towels provided are not to be removed from the premises (not for beach use).

  7. There is $25 key replacement fee.

  8. Most importantly, enjoy your stay!

Check-Out

Check-out is 11 am, but if you need extra time please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

In the event we are not here to see you depart, please turn off all appliances, lock the front door, and leave the keys in the lockbox (passcode provided separately), which is affixed to the front gate.
