Staying with Paul was amazing. We stayed with him for a week, and couldn't have been happier with our stay. First of all, Paul himself is the kindest, most accommodating and genuine host you can imagine. He is a truly wonderful person that I feel honored to have gotten to know and spend time with. I would love to stay with him anywhere he lived, as he felt like a long-time friend by the end of the trip, that I was sad to have to leave.
Second, his place is beautiful. He has a great eye for design, the place was clean and comfortable, with beautiful tropical flower arrangements. The bed was also super comfortable.
Third, his location is perfect for exploring the island. We rented a car, and went to Old San Juan often, which is very close to him, and explored Luquillo. He also has some great restaurants and cafes near him, and an amazing beach!
Fourth, the food -- he made delicious chocolate banana nut muffins for us when we arrived, had baguettes and amazing jams for us, and we loved his granola-fruit-concoction. Also, his body scrub was amazing! When he patents it, I am totally going to buy one of the first bottles! (Keep me updated on that, Paul! I can't wait to have my own homemade scrub!)
Fifth- little Puggy! She was a delight to have around, so incredibly sweet and adorable to come home to. We now want our own pug due to Puggy's sweetness.
I would highly recommend staying at Paul's. I am already missing the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and staying at Paul's! I hope to be back there again. I wish Paul all the best, as he deserves it! :)
