On a recent morning stroll, we stumbled upon (almost literally) these freshly cut pieces of what was once a gorgeous tree in our neighborhood. We were saddened that the tree was now gone, but decided to repurpose the wood for end tables and a plant stand on the balcony. I think Shel Silverstein would have approved :)
