Paul is an excellent host with recommendations for everything you might want to do or see

"We had an absolutely marvelous time at Paul's Tropical Bed & Bruncheon. Most evenings we ended up having cocktails and appies with Paul instead of going out as he and his 2 adorable poochies were so charming! Paul baked us double lemon sea salt muffins as well as the most decadent brownies complete with lemon zest and bacon rendering. Super yummy! Our room was stylish and romantic with the mosquito netting above the bed.

Paul is very considerate and positive and truly enhances your Puerto Rico experience.

The apartment overall was very clean and well appointed. Paul is an excellent host with recommendations for everything you might want to do or see. It rained the first couple of days and as we were contemplating what to do a text came in on my cell from Paul with a list of 10 things to do in San Juan in the rain:) Paul also reminded us that only boring people get bored so of course we got out in the rain and ended up having a wonderful time. Paul is very considerate and positive and truly enhances your Puerto Rico experience. The restaurants he recommended were delicious and creative...just what we like. Without Paul and his Tropical Hideaway our Puerto Rico adventure would not have been as delightful or charming. Thank you Paul!!!"

Paul is the best host!

Paul is the best host! I felt at home right away, and, two words: good (great, actually) taste!! 
The bnb is pretty well located, a bus takes you to old San Juan in just minutes, and the neighborhood is totally safe. 

Air-conditioned room is very comfy, special mention to the amazingly soft bed sheets and great mattress. Everything in the home is clean, delicate and very enjoyable. It was lovely getting up to a pot of (good!!) coffee already made and a home-baked muffin and to sit out on the closed porch to chat! 

I would highly recommend Paul's bnb, no hesitation whatsoever, and I'd go back in a heartbeat! 
Second special mention to the adorable doggies who add a lovely "finishing touch" to the experience! :-)

"The hibiscus hideaway was an amazing apartment with an amazing host. The place is impeccably clean, brilliantly decorated, the room (email hidden), the bed was super comfortable, and everything smelled heavenly. The best part though was the host, Paul. He was always there for anything and everything. He even made me a smoothie, a coffee, and a cocktail (on different occasions!). If I didn't already book the rest of my trip I would definitely be staying with Paul again! Highly recommend if you're looking to stay in San Juan area."

Paul was a phenomenal host in every way!

Paul was a phenomenal host in every way! We missed our flight and desperately needed a place to stay. Paul instantly responded to our request, welcomed us into his home as if we were old friend, and helped us experience old town San Juan like a local by taking the time to tell us all about the best streets, bars, cafés, etc. He single handily turned a unlucky situation into a wonderful extra night of vacation. Also, his home and our room were beautiful and exceptionally clean and comfortable. He even put out a selection of coffee and tea in the morning, and made us warm croissants with jam! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

Rio Camuy Cave Park (Parque de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy)

This spelunker's playground consists of the Camuy River and more than 200 caves, some large enough to make skyscrapers disappear. Absolutely SPECTACULAR!
